Earlier this month "Where Are They Now?" heard from, 2012 Alumnus, Sam Bascom of the US Naval Academy. Today we have an update from 2014 Alumna, Paige Davis, who is getting ready for her upcoming Freshman year at the College of Charleston.
Q: What was the best part of the High School All-American game?
A: Getting the chance to play at a high level with people from all over the U.S.
Q: What is one piece of advice that you wish you would have received earlier in your career?
A: Make friends with as many people as you can and get involved in as much as you can.
Q: What was the best thing that you did from a training stand point as a youth player that helped you develop?
A: Got touches on the ball as often as I could outside of practices.
Q: What would you have done differently as a youth/younger player?
A: Started lifting weights at a younger age.
Q: What do you do to improve during the offseason?
A: I lift weights and joined the track team at my school to stay in shape.
Q: What is your personally most memorable soccer moment?
A: Scoring a header goal to win the State Championship game my senior year.
Q: What do you most enjoy doing outside of soccer?
A: CrossFit and being at the beach.
Q: What are your goals for your upcoming fall season?
A: My goal is to start my freshmen year for my college team.
